Our Initiatives on Sustainable Development Goals

Our company was founded in 1869 and has a history of over 150 years. We believe implementing flexible management policies in response to the changing times without being bound by the past success and stereotypes and our contribution to the society have brought us to this point.

We have been working on SDGs by promoting Eco-Stage Activities, 5S Activity, BCP,CSR, and Green Procurement. In 2020, we purchased SDGs Support Private Placement Bonds, and we received Certificates of Appreciation both from Global Issues Cooperation Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan and Japan International Cooperation Agency, JICA.

In 2021, we made a “Declaration of Health Management” promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and further moved ahead with our health and welfare initiatives. The following is a chart of our activities in response to the SDGs and our mid-term action plan.
